You are a contestant in the game show "Let's Make a Deal" and in this case Monty Hall, the host, shows you three doors. Behind one he has hidden a pot of gold, and behind the other two are goats. Choose one.
But wait! Before he opens the door you chose he is going to make the deal a little more interesting. He opens one of the other doors that he knows has the goat and offers you a new choice: you can stay with your first door or you can switch. If you switch, do you have a better chance of winning or are the odds about the same whether you switch or not?
Hint: Before you decide, try your strategy out several times, switching on every turn or not switching. The real odds reveal themselves in about 20 turns.
